Space Invaders Extreme 2 - New Import, Restock Soon

«©NCSX» Taito's classic Space Invaders game gets extreme once again with new features that bring the retro franchise up to speed with the Joneses. Game elements in Space Invaders Extreme 2 include:

» Bingo System:
Taito throws in the classic game of Bingo where a 3x3 grid is lit up during the course of a stage as invaders are shot. To win at Bingo, key spots on the grid must light up horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
» Multiplayer WiFi Mode:
Compete against another player via wireless Wi-Fi connection with new strategic considerations.

The weapons are the same as the original SIE with the blue laser cleaving through waves of enemies, the bomb-shot causing multiple explosions, and the broad shot hitting multiple enemies at once. Both screens of the NDS are used where the top screen features Bingo or UFOs and boss invaders alternately while the touch screen contains the waves of invader forces.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator - New, In Stock

«©NCSX» The Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship resumes anew in 2009 with another exciting tournament where characters from the television series engage in a brand new Story Mode. The game features over 2800 5D's cards which includes new cards from the Crimson Crisis booster pack and promo cards including "Genesic Dragon," "Shield Wing," and "Stardust Dragon." If gauged against the WCS2008 game, over 800 new cards have been added to WCS2009. A new feature in 5D's is the World Championship Mode where card flippers get to test their strategies in 1-on-1 battles.

The first printing of the game ships with three bonus cards which were used by Kiryu Kyosuke in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's animated serial as follows: "Infernity Archfiend," "Infernity Dwarf," and "Infernity Guardian." Please note the cards are packaged inside the game case.

Trigger Heart Exelica Enhanced - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» The Naomi arcade version of the Trigger Heart Exelica shooter was originally released in the Spring of 2006 to some fanfare from the fanbase. The Dreamcast edition followed up in early 2007 and over a year later, the Playstation 2 version completes the circle with an "Enhanced" game upgrade which features a new animated introduction, a Story Mode, and a third playable character named Faintear who's a blonde that may be seen on the upper-left corner of the game cover. She's the antagonist in Trigger Heart and her weapon is a twin laser shot that cleaves upwards in a straightforward blast.

The p
lay mechanics in THE are fairly routine where the gals blast away at their foes with standard vulcan shots and flit through vertical aspect stages. The wrinkle in the routine is something called the "Anchor Shot" which allows Exelica or Cruel Tear to tether an enemy ship. Once captured, the enemy vehicle may be launched like a projectile at other enemies for added scoring. In addition to small enemies, larger ships may also be hooked and hurled into the midst of enemy forces for a group smash. An enemy ship may also be hooked and then used as a barrier against enemy shots. It's a new shmup technique to explore and revel in. Developer Warashi also touted the V.B.A.S. (Variable Boss Attack System) where end-level gargantuans change their attack patterns based on the skill of the player.

Trigger Heart Exelica Enhanced LE - New Import, Restock

«©NCSX» The Naomi arcade version of the Trigger Heart Exelica shooter was originally released in the Spring of 2006 to some fanfare from the fanbase. The Dreamcast edition followed up in early 2007 and over a year later, the Playstation 2 version completes the circle with an "Enhanced" game which includes a bonus Exelica Nendoroid figure. We're not sure where Exelica's partner in crime, Cruel Tear, is but where's her Nendroid figure? Inquiring minds do wonder. Preorders will ship today but please note that new orders will ship next week when our second batch of the game arrives.

Gundam Senjou no Kizuna Portable - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» The arcade version of Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna (Bonds of the Battlefield) is an immersive gaming experience where players enter a capsule called a P.O.D. (Panoramic Optical Display). Once seated inside the P.O.D., the senses are absolutely overwhelmed with bright lights and blaring sound. The game uses an overhead projector to beam a 180° panoramic image of the battlefield action onto the screen which is... overwhelming especially when your mech is in motion. Two control levers (sorta like twinsticks) are mounted on the front panel for movement and weaponry while two foot pedals may be thumped to ignite the Gundam's boosters. It's the closest thing to actually piloting a Gundam mech that we've seen thus far and the game reaches the PSP this week.

The portable conversion of Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna isn't as impressive as the arcade original but the missions are intact along with 8-player versus action where a 4-player team battles another 4-player team on action-packed theaters of conflict. Gamers can enjoy the Arcade Mode and Mission Mode (1-4 players). Upon starting a game, a metal gate open up to reveal the arena outside the bay (where the Gundam robots are stored) and your robot rockets into battle. The action runs fairly brisk but graphical quality has been sacrificed to maintain fast speeds. A replay function may be utilized which shows your greatest moments as well as botched operations.

Early reservations will include a bonus Gundam Strategy Guide that is being given away by Bandai in 50% ratio.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Wheelie Breakers - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Konami's first Yu-Gi-Oh game for the Nintendo Wii breaks from tradition and diverges from the strict card-battling drama of previous releases. Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's: Wheelie Breakers features cel-shaded racing action where riders hop onto stylized bikes known as Duel Runners and motor along undulating roads and highways. Cards may be used during the race which boost performance or launch deleterious effects at opponents. When rolling on the road upon a Duel Runner, the cards are shown on the middle-right side of the screen and each card's effects are listed on the bottom of the screen below the bike. For example, if you highlight the "Sonic Chick" card, you'll see that its Attack is 300, Defense is 300, and it negates damage inflicted by monsters. A host of characters from the television series appear in the game including Jack Atlas, Leo, Hunter Pace, Rally Dawson, and Akiza Izinski. Each rider begins the game with 4000 life points which is tracked on a little portrait panel on the left side of the screen. When racing against challengers, all of their portraits, positions, and life points are depicted on the left side of the screen so players can track their progress.
The first printing of the game will include three bonus Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards as follows: Burning Skull Head, Skull Flames, and Speed King
Skull Flames which are used by a rider named Mukuro Enjo in the Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's animated serial.
