PSP Classic Dungeon:Fuyoku no Masoujin - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Top-viewed RPGs have been around for ages and Nippon Ichi takes a stab at creating a "classic" RPG that's obviously lifted from the age of the original Famicom. Features such as 5-channel-sounding music, plain big-pixel graphics, and beeping-booping sound effects are all in attendance along with a simple quest to conquer. Basic objectives such as chopping up monsters, gathering loot, and leveling up are also part and parcel of Classic Dungeon. Character archetypes are depicted with stylized representations and the game world is made up of dot graphics greenery and woodlands.

Preorders are welcome to ship on February 18, 2010 at JPY4800 or US$53.90 from NCS. According to the preorder solicitation from the publisher, every reservation will ship with a bonus Classic Dungeon Original Soundtrack which contains 8-bit music that might bring back a bit of retro reverie.

PSP 1 Million Ton no Barabara - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the early days of the video gaming trade, Taito concocted a coin-op titled QIX which was a strategic puzzle game. By maneuvering a little diamond-shaped ship, players drew lines to construct 2D boxes and rectangles in order to build up a conglomeration of structures. The goal was to box in a little electrical monster called "Qix." It wasn't really a monster in the classical sense but we call most adversaries, "monster" to demonize them and make them worthy of destruction.

After viewing the footage for Sony's 1 Million Ton no Barabara, we saw that it was the reversal of Qix. Instead of building up structures to defeat a monster ala Qix, players command a motley cadre of heroes to saw, sever, and break a monstrous battleship apart. Since beastly battleships won't die at the hands of a few ragtag warriors without a fight, they'll strike back with firepower, ordnance, and arachnid-like creatures that scurry in hot pursuit. The heroes ramble around the surface of the ship with their saws to split the craft apart and when danger nears, they can hunker down in a shielded position to blunt attacks. The visual style of the game may be described as "quirky" and "whimsical" with a dash of "quaint" thrown in just to be comprehensive. Preorders are welcome to ship on February 18, 2010 at JPY4800 or US$53.90 from NCS. Early reservations will ship with a bonus 1- Million Ton no Barabara T-shirt that's being given away by Sony in 50% ratio.

TOYS Onegai Teacher Kazumi Mizuho - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Japanese toy manufacturer Daiki Kogyou only sculpts top-notch heroines and their previous subjects have included Koyori of Sengoku Ace, Kanu Unchou from Ikkitousen, and Samurai Spirits' very own goddess Mina Majikina. Daiki's next top-notch gal is Kazumi Mizuho, the ginger-haired teacher from Onegai Teacher. Kazumi is a half-alien, half-human visitor from outer space who lives amongst the Earthlings and learns their primitive ways. In the animated serial, Kazumi can be seen snacking on Pocky who mysteriously doesn't affect her healthy hourglass figure.
Daiki Kogyou's rendition of Kazumi is sculpted to 1/4 scale which measures 42cm (16.54") tall. The figure is constructed of polystone which allows her skin to be painted in realistic flesh tones. Kazumi poses by crossing her arms above her ample bosom which is covered by a few tresses of red hair. A large bikini may be seen hanging from her right hand which may have recently been shorn and a pair of skivvies are still latched around Kazumi's loins. Preorders are welcome to ship in April 2010 at JPY18000 or US$239.90.

TOYS To Heart Tamaki Kousaka Shiro Mizugi - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the To Heart 2 game, Tamaki Kousaka is strong and resolute heroine who commands respect and honor from the boys as well as the girls. She wasn't really depicted as pin-up material in the source game but relatively recent renditions of Tamaki from toy producers have made her into a sexy and exceptionally full-figured girl. The latest figure to be announced hails from manufacturer Kurushima Seisakujo and is a 1/5 scale sculpture which measures 9.05" in length from the tips of her toes to the end of her finely manicured fingers. Her eyes are as big as saucers and her feet aren't dirty. Tamaki is dressed in a two-piece bikini but her top is loose and about to drop onto the little green stool that she's leaning against. Preorders are welcome to ship in March 2010 at JPY18000 or US$239.90 from NCS.

TOYS Ichigeki Hoihoi-san Legacy - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Hoihoi-san's debut in the Playstation 2 game Ichigeki Sacchuu! HoiHoi-San was an eventful one. She skulked, crept, and ran around stages destroying insects with gunfire, swords, and good old bug spray. We were hoping she'd use a swatter like normal folk but Hoihoi is an abnormal robotic munchkin who's into serious exterminating weaponry.

The amount of Hoihoi-san merchandise available in the marketplace isn't obnoxious... yet, but Kotobukiya has been doing their part at spreading the love. The next toy kit from the company is dubbed Ichigeki Hoihoi-san Legacy which requires assembly, paint, and a few hours of manpower to construct. Two accessories are included with the kit - a hammer and a two-handed firearm. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late March 2010 at JPY3800 or US$48.90 from NCS.
