TOYS Chi's Sweet Home Futari Plush - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» It was back in 19Xx when your mom put her foot down and said, "No. We shan't be driving down to the pet shack because you won't be getting that cat." She also went on to state with sagely certainty, "You say you'll take care of it now but once the cat's in the house, you'll get bored of the beast and disrespect it."

She was right because moms are always right. Just like wives are always right. The jury's still out on whether dads are always right.

The Chi's Sweet Home Futari Plush obviates the trip to the pet shop or the animal shelter entirely. The cat plush also eliminates the need for kitty litter, the act of neutering, kibble, catnip, Tender Vittles™, and all those other essentials that the pet industry peddles. The Chi plush also won't cough up saliva-clotted hairballs by the handful. Three Chi cat toy variants are available for sale as follows:

A) Round-eye (The cat positioned on the left of the top photo)
B) Squinty-eye (The central feline in the top photo)
C) Sleepy-eye (The lazy-eyed cat located on the right of the top photo)

Build and Measurements
The lower body of each cat is filled with beanies while the chest and head are plushy. Three whiskers jut out of each side of the cat's face and a semi-rigid tail is attached to the backside. The cat's paws are padded with plastic material to make them look somewhat realistic. From the forehead to the tip of its tail, Chi measures approximately 9.50" in length and about 3.75" wide at its widest point.

Possible Uses for the Chi Plush Toy
1) Decoy device for a child who insists on having a pet cat
2) Sew Chi on a dress and send it to Lady Gaga; tell her it's cat couture
3) Thread a necklace through Chi and wear it as a pendant
4) Buy all three and give yourself the title of aspiring "Cat Herder"

TOYS figma Fate/Stay Night Saber Alter - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Saber looks good when she's decked out in her default blue armor but when it's time to get dark, Saber dresses up in a deep-purple and black getup. The solemn garments provide stark contrast against her wheat-tinted hair. To complete the dark theme, a purplish visor may be affixed to Saber's face.

The new Saber figma is a highly posable figure which ships with a mounting stand for countless posing possibilities. Two faces are included with the toy: a mean face where Saber glowers at the world and a screaming face which indicates anger or frustration at a phantom or contextual villain that only figma Saber can see. The figma includes a dark Excalibur sword accessory which may be gripped in the figure's hands.
All preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome for dispatch today. Pricing is set at US$38.90 each.

TOYS NemuNeko BuruBuru Back-To Plush - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» If a cat was given complete freedom over its diet, mice and fish would probably be on the top of the menu. At least that's the case with Omron/Furyu's NemuNeko BuruBuru Back-To Plush toy which features three spherical cat plushes and their respective prey.
On the left side of the product photo, a black cat is attached to a blue fish which may be pulled away from the feline and then released so that it snaps back at the cat. The middle cat is tethered to a hapless mouse and the one on the right kisses a red fish. Each plush measures 10cm or 3.93" in diameter and preorders are welcome to ship in late November 2010.

TOYS Ikkitousen XX Kanu Unchou Miss Photogenic - Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Kanu Unchou locomotive continues to roll onwards with another toy figure where the buxom warrior is branded "Miss Photogenic." When it comes to Kanu, that title's sort of redundant and in the vein of "sour lemon," "talkative yenta," and "hungry lumberjack."

Kaitendoh's upcoming 1/6 scale Kanu measures 14cm or 5.51" tall and is sculpted in a lean-back pose that's relaxed and casual. Despite her apparent carefree attitude, Kanu nevertheless keeps her spear in hand in case a brawl flares up. A frail girl like Kanu can never be too careful.

Preorders are welcome to ship in late October 2010 at JPY8000 or US$96.90 from NCS. Please note this item will incur dimensional weight and NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the continental U.S.

TOYS Chocobo Magic Book Plush - Restock Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis

«©NCSX» Whenever Chocobo's out in the wild, the feathered beast generally runs, pecks, and squawks up a storm. Add one more activity to Chocobo's to-do list: Reading. In the NDS Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon game, a magic book was the source of Chocobo's woes as well as its eventual salvation. With Square Enix's Chocobo plush, the big bird apparently enjoys browsing through a magic book of spells.

Measuring 18cm or 7.08" tall, Chocobo kicks out its legs and uses them as a book holder to prop up the thick tome. We imagine that by using its wingtips, Chocobo flips through the pages of the volume to find the spell that it needs to cast. If you push aside Choc's left talon, you'll see that the cover of the book shows a Sabotender running away from a horned creature of some sort.
The Chocobo plush measures 20cm or 8" tall from the bottom of its talons to the top feather on its head. Furthermore, Chocobo measures 19cm or 7.50" from beak to tail feathers. If you count the book in front of Chocobo, add another 1.20cm or 0.50" to its length. New orders are welcome.

Chocobo Marketplace 2007-2010
NCS originally imported the Chocobo Magic Book Plush in early 2007 and in the three years that our company has stocked and restocked the toy, we've encountered counterfeit versions of the plush for sale across shops in Asia. One distinguishing factor we've noticed in all of the bootlegs is the wan color of clone Chocobo's fur. Whereas the authentic version of the plush sports a bright yellow color, the fakes have a darker goldenrod or brownish-yellow hue. The fake Choc's also have a magic book that's misshapen but unless a buyer has an authentic Chocobo to compare a fake one with, a misshapen book might not be all that poignant. Whenever a shop owner is asked if he's selling authentic products, the answer is invariably an unblinking "Yes" and some variant of "My friend, I only sell the real goods and never the fakes" despite evidence otherwise.
