PS3 Gekijouban Macross F: Itsuwarino Utahime Hybrid Pack - Pre

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The inception of the Macross franchise took place approximately 30 years ago when the adventures of Hikaru, Misa, Minmay, and Roy captivated viewers on both sides of the Pacific. In the years since the conclusion of the original series, Macross has gone on to spawn animated sequels, serial adjuncts, and a whole lot of merchandising.

On November 21, 2009, Japanese cinema-goers got to watch a Macross movie titled Gekijō-ban Macross Frontier ~Itsuwari no Utahime~ which translates into Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress. The movie was a retread of the events in the Macross F television series compacted down into 119 minutes of drama, espionage, a false songstress, and Valkyries. Lots of Valkyries. False Songstress pulled in a little under $5 million at the box office which was a disappointment. For comparative reference, the One Piece Strong World movie pulled in $48 million and the Yattaman animated film earned $40 million. Cameron's Avatar trounced every other movie in Japan last year with a cumulative take of $163 million.

Preorders are welcome for the
Gekijouban Macross F: Itsuwarino Utahime Hybrid Pack which will probably earn more than $5 million when it ships for the Playstation 3 and Blu-Ray in November. The hybrid Blu-Ray disc contains the False Songstress movie and a Playstation 3 game titled Macross Trial Frontier which is a remake of the PSP Macross Ultimate Frontier game. The series featured in the game include SDF Macross: Do You Remember Love?, SDF Macross Plus, SDF Macross 7, and SDF Macross Zero along with SDF Macross Frontier. In addition to the game and movie, over 50 minutes of bonus footage is included on the hybrid disc. Finally, a 48-page booklet which contains illustrations and archival material is packed as a bonus with the hybrid disc.

Reservations for the Blu-Ray/Playstation 3 Japanese import
Gekijouban Macross F: Itsuwarino Utahime Hybrid Pack will ship on October 7, 2010 at JPY6800 or US$79.90 from NCS.

NDS Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Originally released for mobile-phones in the summer of 2009, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is undergoing the remake treatment and will be playable on the Nintendo DS later this year. In the game, players take control of Sora who explores a Heartless-challenged Traverse Town which is in need of a fix. Since Sora and his keyblade are so versatile, he's assigned the task of making things right in the embattled First District of Traverse Town and other worlds. King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, Alice, and other Disneyland friends return in the role of supporting cast mates.

Early preorders will ship with a bonus Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded branded "Eco" Bag that's being given away by Square Enix in 50% ratio. Ever since the "green movement" and the concept of a "carbon footprint" took hold, Eco Bags have been fashionable in Japan which are meant to replace the wasteful plastic bags that are given away at shopping venues. Those plastic bags invariably end up in a whale's blowhole, suffocate baby birds, or wrap themselves around a little seal's neck.

Preorders for the Japanese NDS import Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded are welcome to ship on October 07, 2010 at JPY5229 or US$60.90 from NCS.

X360 Radirgy NOA Massive - Import Preorder

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Sales for the Wii conversion of Radirgy NOAH were tepid. Maybe the elite shmup corps overseas didn't feel like playing a shooter with an input device called a "Nunchuk" or a "Remote." In a couple of months, Radirgy NOAH is getting ported over to the Japanese Xbox 360 which should prove to be more favorable for Milestone's sales. In the confines of NCS' offices, we consider the X360 to be the spiritual successor of the Dreamcast... at least in terms of coin-op to console shooter conversions.

Radirgy NOAH is a vertical shooter where a squat ship displays its versatility by shooting at flitting enemies, shielding itself from danger, and slashing at incoming attackers.
By firing away and slashing during the course of the stages in Radirgy, the ship levels up both offensive functions for improved performance. "NOAH" features a simultaneous 2-player option and is viewed in the Yoko (horizontal) aspect which allows enough room for both gamers to maneuver and takes sides. The final boss "Ruki Mishima" from the first Radirgy is an optional player character in NOAH. Bosses in the game include a bald-headed homo sapien in yellow pants who performs a spin attack that launches fireballs and an aerial platform that disappears in a puff of clouds when destroyed.

Milestone is adding the word "Massive" to the Xbox 360 conversion of Radirgy NOAH but that impressive descriptor appears to only encompass new game modes in addition to the default arcade mode, an illustrations gallery which features unlockable artwork, and an online ranking mode. Preorders for the Japanese Xbox 360 import Radirgy NOAH Massive are welcome to ship on October 14, 2010 at JPY6800 or US$73.90 from NCS.

Questions and Answers
Q: What is this Radirgy Noir that I see on some sites?
A: The word "Noir" is a mis-transliteration of NOA or NOAH.

Q: Do ya'll prefer Radirgy or Radirgy NOAH?
A:
Asteroids. Scratch that. Asteroids Deluxe.

Q: Is Radirgy NOAH Region-Free?
A:

A:
Exactly 173. We shipped the rest back to Tokyo at 35% trade.

TOYS Portraits of Pirates Neo DX Figure - Crocodile - In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the One Piece manga/animation series, Sir Crocodile aka Mr. 0 is the leader of Baroque Works, a criminal enterprise which was formed to take over the Arabasta Kingdom. By conquering Arabasta, Crocodile hoped to uncover the whereabouts of the "Pluton" weapon which was said to be hidden somewhere within the kingdom. Despite Croc's well planned machinations and directives for taking over Arabasta, he didn't count on the Straw Hat Pirates quashing his scheme.

Crocodile's induction in the Portrait of Pirates toys marks the first time a major villain has been sculpted in the series. Croc is shown with a sneer while his teeth are clenched on a cigar. He's wearing his thick overcoat with fur collar and the golden hook attached to his right arm is raised like some sort of trophy. The figure is fixed-pose and the overcoat may be removed. All preorders have shipped yesterday and new orders are welcome.
