 X360 Eschatos - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Eschatos is a Greek word which means "the last" and can be properly used to refer to the beginning of space beyond the bounds of the Earth. Now that word etymology is out of the way, the game Eschatos tells the story of an invasion from outer space. In the year 21XX, waves of UFOs descend upon the Earth in an aggressive manner. To confront the threat, a single space fighter is sent to defend the planet from all-out attack. Why only one space fighter to face an entire armada of UFOs? Well, because it's got skills to attack enemies through 26 stages.

Said space fighter throws out two types of shots: a powerful "Forward Shot" which fires directly in front of the ship and a "Wide Shot" which unleashes streams of lasers in a 90ยบ arc in front of the ship. The wide shot covers more area but is less concentrated than the forward shot. In addition to its offensive capabilities, the ship can also block enemy shots by activating a temporary shield. When the shield is on, the ship cannot fire shots but the shield destroys enemies upon contact.

Two bonus games are included on the Eschatos DVD as follows:

»
Judgement Silversword- Vertical shooter developed by M-KAI
» Cardinal Sins - An updated version of Judgement Silversword

Judgement Silversword was released on the Wonderswan portable but Cardinal Sins was only available as a download for the WonderWitch development kit.
The first printing of the game includes a bonus CD soundtrack titled "Eschatos & Silver Sword Sound Chronicle" which contains 20 tracks from the two games.

PSP Chikyuu Boueigun 2 - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The big bugs are back in D3 Publisher's PSP conversion of their groundbreaking game which was originally released on the Playstation 2. The date: June 12, 2019 - Three months after repelling the first alien invasion as chronicled in the original Earth Defense Force, the UFOs and massive insects are back for a surprise encore. Once again, players suit up in body armor, take up the gun(s), and fire heavy ordnance to bust up chitinous exoskeletons.

The new alien attack vanguard targets London at first and eventually moves to Tokyo. Massive creatures including arachnids and insect invaders such as centipedes and flying ants are on the rampage and only a well armed soldier can stop their assault. Over 140 weapons are available for fending off the beasts including machine guns, rocket propelled grenades, and guided missiles. When the insects explode, they'll erupt into a dust cloud of yellowish debris but when UFOs are taken down, they'll explode into fiery conflagrations that will also destroy any insects that are nearby. Watching a bunch of ants swarm a building is fairly impressive. Destroying the building and watching it crush all of the ants that were once swarming is doubly so.

New to the PSP game are 4 additional missions for a total of 71 missions and ad hoc gameplay. In addition to the regular edition of the game, a "Double Recruit Pack" in also available for preorders which is packaged with a second copy of the game so two players can collaborate.

3DS Cubic Ninja - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Ninja are sleek, stealthy, and agile because their line of work requires such qualities. In Cubic Ninja, the term “sleek” is no longer applicable but at least “stealthy” and “agile” have a fighting chance. Cubic Ninja utilizes the Nintendo 3DS’ built-in gyroscope to move the titular hero around the cramped quarters of the Cubic world.

The game features 100 stages where the boxy ninja accomplishes goals, conveys himself across the screen, and conquers challenges in an attempt to save his friends and the Princess. Once players have completed all 100 stages, a level editor allows them to create even more. Although Cubic Ninja is being released on the Nintendo 3DS, it is only playable in 2D.
